Getting excited for Teeny Tiny Trifecta 8 secondstreetgallery 2025 , Can’t wait to see all of the art! Their biggest fund raiser of the year, opens September 5th

After visiting the inspiring exhibition “Soft Parts” by Grey Von Cannon at New City Arts in Charlottesville, I felt a surge of creativity that prompted me to revisit and transform some of my older face paintings. The vibrant color of her work ignited a desire within me to enhance my own creations, while also serving as a cathartic outlet for my frustrations about the unchangeable aspects of the world. One particular piece has undergone a transformation every year since 2020, and through this process, I have documented my artistic evolution in a way that most of my works do not. I am happy with its current state and feel a sense of closure, as I have learned invaluable lessons in the studio about the importance of persistence in creativity—without continued effort, one cannot fully uncover all the possibilities that art offers. I invite you to visit Waxwing Art Works in Charlottesville next week, where I will be showcasing 5 to 6 new faces. Your support means so much, and I encourage you to embrace your own artistic journeys. See and collect these new works on paper, starting: Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Waxwing Art Works in Charlottesville, VA.
