This series is painted on pages from a 1923 Latin textbook created for a German school. I appreciate the collaborative nature of this work, with many hands contributing. In addition to my painting, you can see student pencil marks on many pages. The pages are mounted on handmade paper from India. I coated them with clear gel for protection and to stabilize the antique paper. I hope you enjoy the presence and stories these original paintings convey. Check them out on Etsy.
